Not a fan of this product! I was told to by Ge and I brought home product and the glass in freezer busted and broke everywhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's loud when the water refills the ice maker, Startling at times.
The water dispenser tends to drip sometimes so I keep a folded paper towel to catch it, so far not too bad which is good since there is no drain at the bottom of it.
Not especially thrilled with the dispenser bar/activation. It's hard to clean it without having water or ice flowing out onto my hand when wiping it down.
Absolutely LOVE the taller dispenser opening.

Ice dispenser does not work properly, ice will not dispense. Only water dispenser works.

Also, check that the ice bin is properly installed and that there is no ice obstructing the dispenser chute. Ice maker too loud

The ice maker is incredibly loud. I’m thinking it’s because it’s in the door and no insulation. It’s so loud we think it might be broken or malfunctioning. We like the size and the LED lights but wouldn’t buy it again because of the noise the ice maker makes

GE Side by Side Refrigerator

Still getting used to a lot of different things. I miss my deli drawer, only has 2 veggie bins. I'm used to having the freezer on the bottom, so things are so low to the floor. Just shelves in freezer, no partitions or bins. I guess just takes getting used to the difference.

The fridge is very good, however the interior needs more lighting. Can be pretty dark. Also needed one more tray for vegetables. Quality is good so far.
