Ice Maker and Freezer Temperature

After 2 weeks we still don't have ice. Barely fills. We can hear 1 or 2 cubes drop, then water rushing in. Had to set the freezer at -1 because standard 0 degree was not keeping food frozen. Ice cream was soft and runny. Still waiting for repair to replace control panel, today, but I'm not feeling hopeful. Otherwise, love amount of space, everything is visible and easy to find. Large shelves on door are perfect. Also, not fond of front ice return. Takes a while to get used to it. Never use crushed ice but it comes out with the few ice cubes we get. Should be full size ice cubes not 1/4 the size of a golf ball. Basically, love the refrigerator, not the ice maker or temperature control.
