Great Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This through the wall air conditioner lives up to its claims of cooling power. I live in Arizona where we have already had above 110-degree days this summer and the air conditioner is able to cool my large family room. It took a bit of learning and trial and error to install the unit, entirely due to my lack of home improvement knowledge. Once we had the hole cut in the wall and the box placed, the actual installation of the unit was a breeze. It looks unassuming in the wall and does not stand out the way a window unit did. I love that I have full access to my window now and the morning light can again light the room. The unit is placed higher than window ones and helps to better distribute the cool air around the room. It is relatively quiet and blows strong. I look forward to next year when I don't have to put the window unit in. I am more than happy with the outcome of installing and using this unit and I would definitely recommend this air conditioner to family and friends!

The best wall unit I have ever used thus far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire10,000 BTU In Wall Room Air Conditioner has been such a good upgrade for our space. It cools our room (about 400 sq ft) quickly and evenly (in a matter of 20 to 25 minutes tops) which has been a lifesaver on these warmer days here in Chicago. I was honestly surprised by how quiet it runs—it’s not disruptive at all, even when it’s working hard.
The remote is a small but super helpful touch with easy to use and see buttons. I love being able to adjust the temperature or mode without getting up. Installation was pretty straightforward if you already have a wall sleeve in place. It took about an hour to install.
Overall, it’s efficient, easy to use, and blends in well with the room without being bulky or loud. Definitely happy with it so far! With that being said I definitely recommend this brand and unit with confidence!

Does the Job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC unit replaced a broken unit in my not-so-well-insulated shed, and I must say it was a nice upgrade. First, it worked; unlike my old unit, which was great. The remote is nice, and I like that it shows the temperature. It’s a nice convenience adjusting the temperature from across the shed rather than consistently walking over to the unit and having to change it. I would say the installation was straightforward, even for a not super handy guy like me, though it probably helped that I was replacing one that was already installed, though the new unit did vary in size, and some adjustments had to be made to make it work in my space. It cools my shed adequately and maintains a consistent temperature. I would say this is generally a nice unit and find no reason not to recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

Just in time for the summer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this new air conditioner since the house I moved into had an old model that must be at least 20 years old. I was hesitant when trying to switch out the two since they were both heavy and I did not want it top drop out of my third floor living room. Luckily I had help from two others to help me lift my new air conditioner up many flights of stairs. I was pleasantly surprised that there was not much set up to be done and it was pretty much plug and go. I did not have to set up the window frame since the old one was big enough to fit in the new a/c. This new a/c cools up the room so fast and also does not make much noise, sometimes I don't even remember that it is on. Another positive is the remote it comes with so I can change the temperature when I am across the room on the couch. I think this is a huge upgrade and I am really happy with it so far.

Solid Performer – Quiet, Powerful, and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Frigidaire FHTC103WB2 for about a month now, and I’m honestly very happy with it. I installed it in my bedroom (around 400 sq ft), and it cools the space quickly—even on hot, humid days. Once the room hits the set temperature, it stays consistent without constantly turning on and off.
What I really appreciate is how quiet it is compared to my older unit. I’m a light sleeper, and this doesn’t disturb me at night, especially in sleep mode. The remote control is simple to use, and the timer and energy saver settings actually help keep my electric bill in check.
A couple of things to keep in mind—it does require a 230V outlet, which I already had, but that could be a deal-breaker for some. Also, it doesn’t have Wi-Fi or smart features, but honestly, I don’t miss them. I just wanted something that works—and this does.
Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, efficient through-the-wall AC. It’s not fancy, but it’s dependable and does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Super quiet

This unit will save me energy and therefore save me money while at the same time I will feel better for my health with my home being cooler on really hot days.
