We are supposed to get a refund on our refrigerator. It took a long time to get LG to process our claim. We are still waiting for a check. Getting ready to contact LG again to try and find out where our money is.

Excellent Product--Highly Recommended

Excellent product! The refrigerator looks good on the outside and works well on inside. The cooling temperatures are reliable; the seal is tight. The shelving works well functionally (e.g. vegetables and fruits) and in the doors (utility). It's quiet and has every indication of a strong compressor. The LG app is helpful for settings and diagnostics. Highly recommended!

Unacceptable Door Finish
on September 28, 2026
Posted by: EllenF
Very disappointed with this LG refrigerator that I bought 3 months ago. Ordinary souvenir magnets left visible marks and tiny scratches on the doors that won’t come off with the recommended soap and water. I’ve never experienced this with previous refrigerators. After 2 weeks of waiting for LG support to assess the issue, there is still no resolution. The fridge appearance is awful
No complains about the fridge by itself

Hello Bob, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We understand how important it is to have reliable cooling and proper ice production from your LG 27 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth MAX™ French Door Refrigerator, model LRFLC2706S. We want to ensure you have helpful guidance to support your appliance's performance.

To assist with temperature and ice maker operation, please try these steps:
⦁ Ensure the temperature settings are adjusted appropriately (recommended at 37°F for the refrigerator and 0°F for the freezer) and allow up to 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize.
⦁ Verify that the ice maker power switch is turned on and that the water supply line is fully connected and turned on.
⦁ Check that the doors are fully closed and the door seals are clean and tight to prevent warm air from entering.

Freeze Shelves are a Disaster
on September 14, 2026
Posted by: Andrew O
from Boston Area
The fridge generally worked great but after about a year, the freezer rails that the ice cube tray and pull out tray sit on became cracked. This quickly caused the tray supports that sit on the rails to crack. LG does not have replacement parts which is extremely frustrating given the age of the fridge and we're now left to have to buy a new fridge which ultimately will not be an LG fridge.

Hello Andrew, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We understand how essential it is to have sturdy, reliable components for your appliance, and we recognize the difficulty you have experienced regarding the broken freezer shelf rails and tray supports on your French Door Refrigerator, model LRFLC2706S. We want to ensure you have helpful support for managing your refrigerator shelves and bins.

To assist with removing, inspecting, or installing shelves and bins in your refrigerator, please review these general care steps:
⦁ Clear all items off the shelf or tray before attempting to remove or adjust it to avoid strain on the plastic tracks.
⦁ Lift up gently on the front edge of the shelf or bin assembly before pulling it outward to safely disengage it from the support rails.
⦁ Ensure the support tracks are clear of ice buildup or debris before reinserting or sliding trays back into place.

For detailed instructions and visual guidance on adjusting refrigerator components, you can view our support guide here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-refrigerator-how-to-remove-install-shelves-bins--1367247460960

When the power goes off in the house, my compressor turns off and does not turn back on when the power is fixed. When I’m traveling, this is a real nuisance. Also, they want me to pull the refrigerator out to unplug and re-plug to start the compressor. This is a Poor warranty.
