Good hardware let down by unfinished software

While the XbotGo Falcon offers valid hardware improvements over the Chameleon with the integrated functions of the previously necessary external mobile phone, a much improved camera and the support of up to 1TB of micro-SD storage, it is let down by two things: The integrated microphone and primarily the software - while the not-really-improved motion tracking would reserve a close third spot.
The microphone audio on recordings is muffled and cannot be used for athmosphere, which is a lot of steps down from what a mobile phone can record when using the Chameleon. While not relevant for every use case, if you think of using the Falcon for indoor streaming of matches, you have to plan using an additional external microphone if your setup allows it.
The much larger problem is the current state of the software and how the user experience when trying to stream is terrible when compared to the Chameleon, which had already solved most problems. Yet, the Falcon seems to reinvent the wheel once more trying to cater to the autonomous use cases where you're alone with your Falcon and your phone. When interacting with the Falcon, you'll be prompted to connect to the access point it creates. And when starting to stream, you'll have to tell it the credentials for the venue wifi every time. And then the phone app will connect you with the Wifi you've already been connected to before connecting with the Falcon - overriding settings on your iPhone. If your app crashes while the stream is active but you want to interact with the Falcon? You'll have to stop the stream and reconnect through the devices access point again.
The Chameleon already solved such issues with the monitor function, which is not perfect but a much better experience!
Why not be able to configure the Wifi mode (AP vs. client) of the device via Bluetooth and then providing access through the monitor mode while on the same Wifi? This would completely remove all the hassle you have right now.
I sincerely hope that the problems with the streaming use case will be remedied with future software updates, because the hardware really deserves!

Good. Stil work to be done

I upgrade from Chameleon. In clear an improvement. The team names has limited number of characters (why?) and știi camera look for players outside the pitch, even I insert the pitch limits. Otherwise, it deliver a good quality of recording. I was also unable to make live streaming.

Absolutely the best investment for me and my family.Both of my sons play AAU Basketball every weekend and it really let us focus on the game instead of recording.Also my son was able to get his highlights

I use it for soccer (11 vs 11 matches), and I’m a bit disappointed with the auto‑zoom performance. When the action is on the other side of the pitch, it looks very far away, and the camera doesn’t seem to zoom in or focus closely enough on the action

Amazing recording device. Strong, durable and sturdy. Picture quality is excellent. The only issue is that the zoom can be improved when play is far across field. If that gets better then this is a 5 star rating.

Only issue that I have is that I am having issues streaming to my YouTube channel. It tells me stream failed
