The Falcon is fantastic for Basketball. Really user friendly and easy to use including scoring the game Can easily view the game live or through phone. .
I really like the camera. The set up and the app are great. Easy to download. I am having issues with the tracking. I coach U 12 boys that play 8v8. I have put the settings to 7v7 Under 14 but I find the tracking just stops at times. It doesn't seem to cover the whole filed. I have set it to all the recommendations by the app but it seems to have moments it gets lost. Is there anything I might try to help it track better?
Use for indoor basketball and does a good job 95% of the time. Sometimes it is completely facing the wrong end (usually at start of quarters or after timeout) but when the play does go to the end it fixes itself you just lose a bit.
Have only used it a few times since receiving it. The camera seemed to track moderately well for hockey when in close vicinity to the ice. Tracking for Lacrosse seems to be a little less accurate but it may be due to the location I had placed the camera. Overall I am very satisfied and excited to explore more of the features.
I've made some tries with it, and the processus was not that easy to understand. The instructions on paper coming with the camera was limited but explain well how to get the device started but not that that much on how to stard and set a recording. I learned those topics more with the tutorial available on the apps but they are quit limited for the falcon as they are classified as model specific. But I get a hard time to understand how to extract the data from the Falcon as I did not know that the firt download to the local section of the apps is still on the camera and not on my phone and that I must do a second download to load it on my phone.
As of now, I feel like the camera record with a too much zoom out so the play (soccer 11v11) is hard to see as everything is too small. I made some research to identify how to fix it, but I did not find a solution yet. Also, I did not find how to fix the camera on a specific player.
Also, the bolt on the top of the tripod is a little curved so the camera is never levelled for the recording.
