there is alot of things i didnt know. the falcon cannot connect to the hotspot on my phone and let me use my same phone to stream on it. so thats a opportunity that would be nice to fix. i do not see how to get the analytics on the game like it was advertised. or a how to video. but its smooth and video is wonderful

Happy, but still needs some adjustments

We're are happy with our purchase for the most part, but there are a few things that we would have liked to see work better.
1) We are in U14 and play on the big football sized field and the zooming when goals are scored or blocked is lacking. It barely even zooms in and is very difficult to see.
2) When it comes to saving the videos on the cloud, it's too much work and waste of space to have to download it off the bot, then still upload through a phone or computer. Wish we could upload directly to the app from the bot.
3) Sometimes even though I have setup the markers it seems to not get the corners.
4) when using the scoreboard option I wish we could move the board so it's not in the way, or if we could make it smaller would help too.
5) while watching the recording wish it was easier to zoom in through your phone. It's unpredictable on manually zooming in.
6) Because of the lack of auto zoom during recording or streaming, wish we could at least manually zoom in.
7) would be nice to get a better tutorial or helpful tips on the use of the bot.
8) Seems like the best way to use it is to have 2 different devices, one to record and stream and the other to use as a hotspot. Although it does appear to work decently for just 1 device, it seems like it losses access pretty easily. Would like to be able use one device as the app control AND hotspot consistently.

Lastly, the sound is really really good and clear, almost too clear actually. It will pick up everyone's voices around the camera. Wish it had some type of feature where it removes certain noise or commentary r maybe even a mic.
This review sounds mostly negative, but we're just nitpicking. Overall we really are satisfied with the bot, we just really wish is would zoom in better on action shots on goal.

Great upgrade

I have both Xbot recording systems. The new Falcon is a great great upgrade. I record basketball. The falcon keeps up with the flow alot better than the Chameleon. The video is 4k which is an upgrade from the Chameleon. The cons is that it takes awhile to get the videos uploaded. I got tired of waiting for them to upload so i took out the memory card and uploaded them to my youtube channel. Con2: The battery does not last as long as the Chameleon

Zoom feature the

Everything about the camera is good except the zoom feature. It is very hard to see opposite side of 11v11 field.. if zoom feature is improved to be closer to the play, this camera would be perfect!

Really slick device, we purchased it to use with our in house req basketball league, with it we are able to set it up to record games and walk away until half time without missing a moment. We also purchased a tablet to run it off of so that it is not reliant on a parents phone. So far so good.

Device is fun to use, it takes a little bit of getting used to. I don’t like that strangers are able to connect to my device without my consent. I was at my daughters tournament with 8 soccer fields at the park and I was connected to someone else’s camera and I was able to see their footage then I couldn’t connect to my camera because someone connected to it and started recording my device.
