I purchased the openrun twice before I thought this time I melt myself up to open run Pro for the life of me I cannot tell the difference saved the extra money and just go with openrun it's a great headphones I like it a lot but the pro not worth it
Shokz has changed my music listening experience. From easy volume settings to skipping songs, it’s a great product. Most important, I don’t have to have earbuds in my ears.
Overall I am pleased with my Openrun Pro headset purchased in 2022. I do have a few “complaints”: for whatever reason when using Siri or just the speech to text microphone instead of typing on my keyboard, the Shokz cut-off the first word or so (in contrast my other bluetooth devices do not). They also cut-off the first part of my phone’s notification sounds/alerts -eg when a text or email arrives. I would prefer they state an actual battery level rather than low/med/high. Qi charging with industry standard chargers would be nice. Better sound with sound file storage and ipx7 or better waterproofing in one device would be great. I tried the latest Open Run (in Nov 2024) model which has improved sound but not the media storage/waterproofing of the swim. A slide on “wind screen” to reduce noise while on a bike could be nice. Better noise cancellation for the mic is desired. When announcing they are “connected” it would be great if they identified the device. Also volume adjusting level is unknown unless they are actually playing sound. Ability to turn off the “beep” when adjusting volume is desirable. Shapeable head band also would be nice. Still, I find my Shokz to be very nice.
I am enjoying them. It is nice not to worry about them falling out of my ears and losing them. Being able to have my ears open to hear other sounds is good also.
