People have trouble understanding my calls and Much of the time they sound holding or nuclear. I did the process but I have to keep doing it. It become pita.
Very best you can hope for with bone conduction. You're not going to be pumping the bass, and if you try to you'll blow them, but for doing literally anything where i need to listen to the earphones and the rest of the world at the same time, they're awesome. Otherwise sound quality is top notch. mids and highs are vibrant and nuanced. Use them extensively for calls at work to it keeps my hands free. Even without the boom mic model (I use Aeropex), people on the phone tell me they sound just like my normal phone mic. Battery lasts a very long time. Charge once per day, tops. Fantastic for cycling, so you can hear how much tire grip you have while cornering on the trail, or traffic while on the road bike. I'm very very satisfied.
Love them! I MTB a lot of trails here in the Rockies and I often need to hear for other sounds or chat with other riders or hikers. Now I finally get to do al that AND listen to my favorite music. It feels like there are hidden speakers following me with a soundtrack to my ride. I am constantly showing everyone I know how great they are and the response is the same: “I need these!” My wife just bought a pair for herself because she wanted to feel safer on hikes and not be surprised by other hikers or bikers.
So comfortable I often forget I have them on. The Aftershokz Air was comfortable, these are a noticeable improvement over that. Music, audiobooks, podcasts, working out, I love them.
The Aeropex are much nicer than each of the two earlier versions that I’ve had (which were also great). Better sound. Better mic. However, the new styled charging cable is less convenient.
A novel way of using headphones, but after getting over the unfamiliarity there’s a fully functional and very comfortable wireless headset waiting to be enjoyed.
I use them for hiking in rattlesnake country. Allows me to hear my surroundings. Battery life is good. Also works well with corporate conference calls. Mic works well and doesn't make you hear your own voice like wearing normal buds or noise cancelling headphones do.
