After having these several months and getting a new phone, still having same problem, so took a star off. This is my 3rd pair of Shokz. I love them except this set doesn’t get the alert sounds from my phone through the headset and when I wear them in the car with maps on my phone, it cuts off the first 3-4 words of directions Frustrating. So I don’t hear the “in 1.8 miles” just “turn Left onto……..”. So then I have to keep looking at my phone to see how far. For music they’re great!
We purchased a 2nd charger to keep in our RV. These headphones are awesome to pair with our Garmin Varia when riding our bicycles on the road. Let’s us hear all outside noises and alerts from our Garmin.
Your headphones are incredible but going with the proprietary cable is bad form. If you do want to go the proprietary charger rout you should should do what other companies are doing and offer a USB to male USB C cable, and female USB C to Proprietary charger adapter head.
These headphones are even better than i expected. I got them for biking and walks, but use them throughout the day for work as well. The battery holds up for a full work day which is so convenient if you have a lot of zoom meetings.
Charging is super simple. And connecting to multiple devices is the easiest I've experienced.
They aren't noise cancelling. I specifically got them for awareness, be sure that's what you want.
I originally bought the large and they were too big. So I returned them and got the mini. Still too big. In other words, they stick out too far from the back of my head and hit my coat collar or hood, forcing them forward on my head. I just wish you made an "extra-mini" for people with small heads.
I have had my OpenRun for about a month and very satisfied with them. They are easy to use, hold a charge for a long time, comfortable and can still hear what is going on around me.
