I am jealous (well, a little) of people that can wear ear buds. I had a major surgical procedure that destroyed my eardrum and all of the bones that conduct sound in my left ear. Earbuds don't fit in my ear canal, but I still have an intact auditory nerve. When I first saw an ad for bone conduction headphones I was skeptical, but hopeful they'd work for me. The 1st time I tried them on I was hooked. INCREDIBLE!! Not only do they sound clear and rich but they're very comfortable to wear for hours. The only drawback is with the open design they don't cancel out noise that well on a plane. Besides that, I love my Shokz!
I love my Shokz. I can take them paddleboarding, wear them in the shower, and walk in public while still being situationally aware. They have been an absolute game-changer; I am more motivated to exercise. They are also comfortable to wear. My ears are tiny and wearing any earbuds would make them hurt. I can wear my Shokz all day and forget they're on!
Having problems with charging the headset. seems to be the charger cable. I have 2 sets, and the one charger cable seems to have stopped working. a standard USB c charging cable would be better and wireless charging would be the best. The headset itself is great, so good i bought a 2nd pair, but now i'm not sure if i can trust getting them charged. would be a 5 star review but for the charger
Since I brilliantly misplaced my first charger I had to order a new one pleasantly surprised with a quick delivery and now I'm back to handsfree talking. Love it!
Overall satisfied with the headphones. My only complaints are that I can’t wear them under my motorcycle helmet and when running or walking they feel like they press enough on my head which would make them a little louder. But I do highly recommend these for any exercise or outdoor activities. Worth the money and the battery life is not bad either.
