Over-the-range microwave

I recieved a new over-the-range microwave and it is such a big upgrade compared to the small tabletop one i had .
Thankfully i have my father and husband to help me install this . The process of installing it was quick and very easy . Every material is provided to place the microwave on the wall . Measurements on the distance from the oven and from the wall are also provided on the instructions .
This microwave is so big! It has strong and powerful ventilator that can be set in high and low . Also it has a led cooktop lighting (which in my opinion it is too dim but it works) .
A quiet close door , which means that it it makes little to no noise which is perfect in my household .
The stainless steel look fits and goes perfectly with my stove , it matches the colors perfectly.
I did heat up a mac and cheese to test it out , and it worked perfectly ! I have been using it ever since installment and it heats up very fast , performs exceptionally well and we are all loving our new upgrade !

Large capacity and high performance microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave capacity is large. Its safe to use and is pretty high performance product. The cleaning is easy. I am not sure of ventilation yet but it does look promising ! Happy with this Microwave.

A sleek looking microwave that works well with though out features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced our old over the range microwave with this one and I’ve got to be honest…I prefer this one over the other name brand microwave we had! This is the first appliance made by Midea that I’ve owned.
The microwave was easy to install and I was impressed with the build quality when installing it.
The functionality and features are thought out and straightforward. I particularly like the fact that I can turn off the sound feature and you can also turn off the turntable. But, I have to admit my favorite feature is the quiet close door!!
I found the defrosting feature to work well and it heats everything from leftovers to tea with ease! I also noticed it was substantially quieter than my old microwave.
The microwave is similar in size as my old one and is ideal in my opinion for typical home use. It’s not too big and it’s not too small!
I would recommend this microwave to anyone looking for a quality over the range appliance!

Mixed feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings but I’ll try to be as detailed and fair as possible. First, the installation was pretty smooth. Despite it being pretty heavy, my husband was able to do it all by himself. There’s a QR code on the box that leads to video instructions, which was very helpful for mounting it over the range.
Speaking of the vent it works pretty well. It can be installed like ducted or ductless, which is great for flexibility. As for the suction power, it’s not perfect but pretty good. It easy pulls all the steam from the back burners that are directly below the vent, whereas front burners closer to me get about 4 out of 5 for suction, which I believe is still decent for over-the-range microwave.
The design looks great in stainless steel and matches really well which the rest of my kitchen. The steel itself is awesome because it doesn’t leave annoying fingerprints, though you will definitely need to wipe the fingerprints off of the glass door panel.
The under cabinet light is very pleasant - not too bright, not too dim either. The touch control panel feels modern and is super easy to wipe clean since there are no physical buttons for grease to get trapped under. Plus, inside is huge. You can easily fit family casserole dishes or big plates without any issues.

Now for the sad part: my unit arrived defective straight out of the box. The door interlock switches seem to be faulty, so the microwave oven doesn’t recognise that the door it shut. Consequently, the light inside stays on when the door is closed and the start button doesn’t respond, meaning I wasn’t able to test the microwave oven with its functions itself, sadly.
I contacted midea’s support, it definitely took me a while, but they seemed involved. However, because this was a promotional sample and I don’t have a retail store receipt, they couldn’t issue a replacement unit under their regular store exchange rules.

Visually and feature-wise, it’s a great appliance with amazing capacity and look and I would really wish I could use it for cooking. It’s just a bad luck I’ve got a faulty one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be a part of this campaign and get to try this product for free for my honest opinion. Wow. Just wow! This came after our over the stove microwave died a horrible death. After removing it and dealing with the mess the builder made with the builder grade one we made a contraption to hold this beautiful microwave! After all the mess we went through thia installed so easy, for my husband lol! I could never do this! It works so well and is so quiet and nice! I absolutely am in love! I highly recommend!
