Customer Reviews for Philips - Hue Flux Lightstrip Extension 5m (16ft) - White

While the regular light strips are amazing and work very well, the extensions do not. The connector from the existing strip to the extension strip is very flimsy and doesn’t connect well. I used 4 strips and only 1 worked of the 4. Plus if you don’t shut off the existing strip when making the connection, it can burn out the existing strip me did burn out half the strip the first time I did it. If they could get the connections better it would be great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the extension strips.
When connecting or disconnecting lightstrip sections, we recommend ensuring the lightstrip is completely powered off and disconnected from the power source before making any changes. Care should also be taken when handling the connectors, as proper alignment is important to avoid damaging the connection pins and to ensure a secure connection between sections.
We're glad to hear you've otherwise enjoyed the performance of the lightstrips themselves, and we appreciate you sharing your observations regarding the extension connections. We'd welcome the opportunity to take a closer look at your setup and see how we can assist.
