Lexie B 3 Hearing Aids.

The clarity and automatic directionality are much improved over my Lexie B2’s. I had problems with squealing feedback but found more substantial domes (power) have corrected this problem. B3’s are great improvement in ability to hear.

B3's excellent sound quality

The B3 model has improved sound quality to that of the B2 and B2 Plus. The mid-range sound adjustment allows for a more natural sound instead of the "tin can" sound from other hearing aids. There are a few drawbacks to the B3. The larger size (to the B2, B2 Plus), combined with the thinner more flexible sound tube caused it to not fit to my ears as well as previous models and occasionally shakes loose. I do get more whistling and wind blowing noise but these are most likely an sound adjustment and not a design issue with the B3.

Annoying feedback with B3

The positive experience I have with the Lexi B3 is the overall quality and length of the battery use. The drawback is it’s ‘bulkyness’. It is larger than the B2, and after a while uncomfortable to wear. The main negative I find is the feedback it creates most all the time. This is very annoying.

I've had the B1, B2 and B3 models, and the significance of this upgrade cannot be understated. The controls are greatly improved and help so much in tailoring the pair to my needs. The focus feature works much better on the B3 than I was able to get it work on the B2. I love mine!

Overall, not a standout in a good way.

I have had earlier versions of Lexie hearing aids, but am somewhat disappointed in B3. First, they whistle a lot. Or is it a screech? Second, I need two chargers because I travel weekly between two locations, and if I forget the one an only charger, I can’t hear well for a week until I get back to my one charger. I asked to but a second charger but was told they weren’t available. They were available for earlier models.

feedback

I had a pair of B2 and upgraded to the B3. I really want to like the B3 but I have a real issue with feedback. If I turn the left side(side with the greatest hearing loss) to 40 then the feedback is still there but not constant as it is at 60% which is the level that the self test set for the left ear. Any suggestions?
