The flexibility of this Midea fridge is a game changer.

We kept it in my home, but It's a garage ready as a second unit, and it handles the temperature changes perfectly.
The flexibility is easily the best part being able to switch between extra fridge, space or extra freezer space, depending on what we just bought is incredibly convenient.
It holds a massive amount of food and the shelves are surprisingly sturdy. You can make it both freezer, both fridge or fridge and freezer up or down.
My only minor complaint is that exterior shell seemed a little easy to scratch, so you have to be a bit careful around it. But for the price and the sheerty, it is totally worth it. Highly recommended. If you need extra food storage, it's perfect in the garage and in the home.

Easy installation!

Took a bit of elbow grease to get it unboxed and off the pallet but it payed off! Super easy installation and I love the duality of being able to choose fridge/freezer. Thankfully we didn’t need to switch the direction of the doors but I like that there’s the option.

I have it as a fridge freezer, but I love the fact that you can make it into a fridge fridge, fridge freezer or freezer freezer. I have not had any issues with fingerprints. It is a smaller sized fridge which I don’t mind because it fits my space perfectly. Even though it looks small on the inside, you can store a lot inside both the fridge and the freezer. The fridge is on top. The freezer is on bottom. Sides do get warm, which says that it does do that. It seems like a durable refrigerator. It is sturdy but light weight. It has a great seal on it so I know that the cold air will stay inside. This is my first time using this brand of refrigerator and it is definitely a brand I will go back to again. I love the smart app feature where you can keep an eye on the diagnostics and run one to make sure everything‘s running OK. I also like that. It has a Sabbath button to where you could toggle it on where it disabled the lights inside your refrigerator.

Extremely flexible, energy efficient garage/basement fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really great quality, convenient garage fridge! Honestly this fridge would even be perfect in any full kitchen - the only drawback being lack of ice machine. It’s perfectly flexible for any space in that you can swap the direction the door opens. I am also still amazed with the feature of being able to adjust the unit 50/50 to be either fridge/fridge combo, fridge/freezer or even freezer/freezer! All with the extremely simple press of a button!
It’s perfect for our basement. Plenty of space for full beverage supply and more! Addition functional space for when we cater special events in our home and around the holidays.
Small comment of delivery, it was simply placed in our front lawn and not brought into our home which was a bit inconvenient, but this is not to deter from the fridge itself. Not sure if all orders come through this way or not.
One small thing to note is the door will stay slightly ajar when you softly close it behind you, you sort of have to push it again to fully close, and I wish I could swing it shut. We love that this Midea Fridge is energy efficient and conserves energy!!!

Awesome freezer/fridge combo appliance !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Midea 50/50 Flex has been a really impressive refrigerator/freezer combo. It has a clean, modern design that is easy to use and is a great option for a secondary or garage fridge.
My favorite feature is easily the flexibility. The upper compartment is larger, with a slightly smaller lower section, and you can configure the unit as a refrigerator/freezer combo, full freezer or full refrigerator. Changing between the modes is incredibly simple using the control panel, and there’s an app that lets you adjust settings and monitor the unit from your phone.
Inside, there’s plenty of space and the layout is very practical. The glass shelves, deep drawers, and large door bins give you a lot of options for organizing everything.
My only real criticism is the lighting. The upper compartment has a larger single LED near the front that provides a decent amount of light. The lower compartment has a smaller light positioned outside the compartment that shines down into it, so it isn’t quite as bright. I would love to see backlighting in both compartments. That would brighten the entire interior more evenly and, in my opinion, make this appliance just about perfect.
Overall the 50/50 Flex looks great, is easy to use, and offers a level of flexibility that you don’t get with a traditional refrigerator or freezer. If your storage needs to change from time to time, having the ability to switch between refrigerator and freezer space easily is a huge advantage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The innovation of this 3-way convertible freezer is exactly what I needed. It can be used as double freezer, double refrigerator or one of each. It is designed well and I love the fingerprint resistant steel. Also, doors can be installed to open in either direction depending on your space. They thought of everything with this design.
