[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit just in time for a week long heat wave in 100 degree temperatures. This unit has held up well, cooling a couple of rooms with the combination of a fan. I like the remote that tells me the indoor temperature and that the unit has both remote and manual controls. The sleep function was very nice when it wasn’t so hot in overnight hours. The best part is that the unit is lightweight compared to other units.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to cool a bedroom. Frigidaire offered the size and price I needed. Keeps the bedroom not only cool but cold. Only negative......it is pretty loud....but with time it is only white noise and doesn't bother sleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sexy with its design. It's modern, sleek, and easy on the eyes. It runs like a fine-tuned machine. I love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hear the water noisily sloshing around inside (until it finally drains) when I sleep! I've installed it per directions. I'm 69 and have installed many a unit. Have a 12000+ frigidaire ac on the main floor, love it! The 2 new bedroom ones, bad purchase. Consumer Reports got their review for this model wrong! I forgot, the new units cool the rooms nicely, but that's what they are supposed to do. Sorry for this review , but you asked.

You may hear the water moving within the air conditioner as they are no longer designed to drain like they used to. Water is recycled over the condenser as part of the cooling process and may create some unfamiliar sounds. This may be more prominent in the higher humidity months. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may be creating for you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was pretty easy- didn't take any special tools or knowledge that the average person doesn't have.
My only wish is that the screw holes for the side extensions were a bit higher up, as i had to shift the whole side extension (on both sides) so that the screws would actually go into the wood of the window frame.
Same goes for the center hole on the lip of A/C unit. I had to omit putting the screw there because the hole was not high up enough for the screw to go into the wood of the frame.
The only other "issue" I've had with it is a rather loud sound that I would best describe as the fan hitting water. This sound only occurs when the unit has been on for an extended period of time, and is why I believe it comes from condensation of the evaporator. This may also be described in the "Normal operating sounds" of the user manual, so I am overall not concerned.

Thank you for providing your feedback with our team. We are delighted to hear installation was easy and apologize for the screw holes not lining up where you needed them. The sound you are describe is normal. To make AC units more efficient, accumulated water is tossed up onto the condenser coils allowing them to cool. This causes the noise you are hearing. If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know. You can reach us via Live Chat on our website M-F 8:30 am- 8:00 pm EST. - Kailey
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little ac is amazing. It was easy to install and it does a great job keeping the room cool. I don’t use the remote that came with it.
