Nice and quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit to replace a barely 1 year old GE unit that quit working. It is very quiet and works flawlessly. The Eco feature turns the fan off when not needed allowing the unit to stay on indefinitely until cooling is needed. The remote control acts as a thermostat to help even more with controlling the temperature. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I wish I never switched from my usual 5K BTU to 6K BTU as it has this extremely annoying high pitched whistling noise if I don't keep it on AUTO MODE, AUTO FAN SPEED, AND ECO, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be working ok. Just started using it and the temperature outside has not been that hot, so can't tell if the unit is cooling the room enough. I hope 6000 BTU's is sufficient enough for our bedroom.
