After installing this air conditioner, it is wonderful to be able to breathe in that room and attend to household chores in the comfort of coolness.
I purchased this model based on consumer reviews. It was an easy one person installation and operates fairly quietly. I trust the Frigidaire brand.

Excellent Efficiency; quiet operating at a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small unit was just what we needed for our bedroom. Compact, efficient, with settings that can have the fan run constantly while cooling cycles on and off, or only when cooling. It’s not super quiet but on continuous fan it sounds more like white noise. We replaced a free-standing unit in the room with this window unit and are very satisfied so far—only got it into the window in July!
