Pros and Cons of HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One Printer

Bought it to replace the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium printer I had been using since 2012. The OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium is a super workforce machine, but its ink is way way too expensive for continued use. The Smart Tank 7601 All-in-One is a great design, less bulky, lighter, and claimed to be about 10 times more productive for printed pages as compared to OfficeJet Pro 8600. But the the reasons why I gave it a 4 rather than 5 are as follows:
1. The printing speed is notably slower than the 2012 OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium (which is about twice as faster per page than the Smart Tank). I stick to HP because I really loved OfficeJet Pro 8600 (except for its expensive ink replacement). Even though it is slower than the older model I had, I still like it, as I don't often print large quantity, though I'm a bit annoyed when scanning multiple pagers, which makes me a bit impatient.
2. Didn't notice what function was "AI-enabled", as it was just a printer to me so far (I have yet to discover its AI features).
3. No good printed installation instructions was provded, which made the initial set up quite clumsy. The animated illustration was not really self evident nor helpful. I searched YouTube, and found a user video showing the unboxing and setup process, which was super straight forward and helpful. I wonder why couldn't HP make an official video for illustration (which probably won't be more expensive to make than the animation illustration). HP should be able to easily improve on this.

Great printer. It provides me the features I want for personal and volunteer work. I like the smart tank feature because it is more economical to print which is B/W and color documents. The 2-sided printing feature is very beneficial especially when printing larger documents. With the exception of the difficulty completing the setup process it has been a great printer.

Printer works nice. The set up could be made better by including some instructions with the computer. I still haven't figured out how to scan with it, so I can't send a sample photo. This is why an instruction sheet would be nice.

The software set up took forever and was a bit complicated/non-intuitive. The machine seems a bit fragile and the printer sounds like some old dot-matrix printer from 35 yrs ago when it prints out a sheet.
Note that if you do not connect directly with a cable, each time you print, the software waits a bit to confirm the printer is online and all connected so there is not an instantaneous response -not a huge thing but obviously not as quick as a printer that is hard-wired up to your computer.
