Need to be more thorough in your dimensioning sp

Very poor details. The panel ready fridge does not show overall width with doors open. We designed a kitchen for this fridge, with matching panels. The overall width is 35 3/4". We allowed a bit more space, but once the kitchen was installed, and the installers were installing the panels on the fridge, it became too wide and the doors would not open because they bind on the cabinets beside them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Fridge

We replaced a 20 year old Kenmore/LG with this counter depth KitchenAid. The new fridge is a big upgrade in terms of looks and fit. Build quality is solid. We knew that we were losing freezer space, but this freezer is pretty small. Ice maker works well and water dispenser is one hand touch. This is not the most quiet refrigerator but overall we are very happy with it so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inferior product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a KitchenAid 22 Cu Ft in september. Unfortunately, the light switch to the door was nonfunctional and could not be repaired and the refrigerator was deemed unfixable. They replaced this brand new refrigerator with the model mentioned above. The asked me to look at the specifications of the new refrigerator which I did. The details are very limited and there's no pictures of the product to compare the shelving and the details.
It was not the same model, but very dumbed down. I assumed as it was a replacement. It would be the same or better. Unfortunately the product is far inferior to the product that was replaced. I called Kitchen Aid and spent an hour on the phone only to be told that I was stupid and that I should've realized it was different model. He also admitted it was cheaper. When I asked for a refund of the money difference, they laughed in my face.
As far as the review is considered the freezer space is small and not efficiently laid out. The door bins were smaller and more cheaply made, and did not have the rubber mat liners as the other fridge did. The door handles are different with a rough finish and not as classy looking. Overall, I am very disappointed with Kitchen Aid and it's Customer Service as well as the performance of this refrigerator. I will never buy another Kitchen Aid product or deal with the whirlpool corporation again.

Nice Refrigerator Except Operation of Freezer Door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator portion is fine but freezer door opens crooked on left side when door is slid open. Our previous Kitchen Aid French Door refrigerator did not operate this way. Was told by KA the freezer door is operating properly. Makes no sense to me.

Sleek and Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the bins are very sturdy as well as the drawers. So many refrigerators we looked at the flimsy bins were a turn off. Also love the scooper in the ice bin.
