I bought this to help me as I always run hot and it has been great help for cooling me down!! I don't find the noise bothersome it just sounds like Dyson dryer on low. Great purchase

Good quality, but didn't serve for my application

I’d recommend this device due to excellent build quality and function as expected from Dyson.
It did a good job of cooling for indoor use.
But for my application, outdoor use while wearing an inflatable costume (frog) in Houston Texas (100 degrees / 80% humidity) it didn't work ivery well in my application.
Noise was acceptable, even on the highest setting.
I needed a way to hold the device in a fixed position, to rig a way to fix the device to my chest while walking.
Perhaps a video showing a chest attachment strategy would be of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very noisy and not very cooling. And the carrying string didn't actually face me. It was not as strong as the noise suggested

I love my Dyson products, and I have to say this one is a disappointment. It should NOT be called a HushJet because it is very loud for the size fan that it is. It is powerful but the noise gets on my nerves to the point I have to put it on a lower level or just shut it off completely. I purchased one for myself and another as a gift and am not excited to gift it. Battery life isn't as impressive as I thought it should be. The necklace for handsfree usage is wonky - not made for women with fuller chest. When I use the necklace, I just can't get the airflow going in the right direction. I was an impulse buy and I wish I had done a little more research before pulling the trigger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
