Pet pro works wonderful works very well cleans my apartment tremendously, especially after the urinate or poop tells me what to do in terms of cleaning the lint off the Pre screen, which really helps tremendously in such an easy way to do it

I purchased this after researching best air filters for a home with excessive pet hair. This product only pulled in fur that was within 2 inches of intake and, due to the self cleaning design, the middle bottom portion of the 360 intake is blocked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second Levoit air filter that I have purchased. I purchased a Levoit Core 600S about three years ago and have been impressed with its performance.
I have recently moved to a two-level townhouse. The air in the townhouse was stale and also had a faint smell from the two large dogs the previous renters owned.
I was confident that the Levoit Core 600S would easily take care of the downstairs. However, I decided to purchase another air filter for the upstairs.
I started to look at all the different air filters that Levoit offers and ran across the Vital Pet Pro unit. This was exactly what I needed: an air filter designed for pet odors.
I have placed the unit in the spare bedroom where I keep the litter box for my cat. I am impressed with how well both units work and how fresh the air in my town is now.
Both units work quietly and as advertised, and I would highly recommend these products to anyone.
I would also like to add that anyone who owns a pet(s) should have a Levoit Vital Pet Pro for cleaning pet(s) odors, and they are also designed exclusively for pet dander and hair shedding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DOES NOT HELP DOG POO SMELL!

The real test on what I would rate this was done when I wasn’t home and the main reason I purchased it…dog poo! We recently got a new Boxer puppy, his poo is horrid. You can smell it when you walk inside the door. He has a potty area in his pen which is maybe a foot away from where I put this purifier. Description says it helps with litter box odor, so basically same thing has a puppy potty, they make litter boxes for dogs. NOPE, WRONG didn’t help with the smell of the poop sitting right beside the intake of this purifier. I walk inside my house and immediately got hit with the poo smell. The pen/potty area is about 10-15 feet away from the front door. The purifier sits right beside the pen/potty area. So this is why it got 3 stars for me, would have given it 2, but it being so quiet and self cleaning is why I rated it higher. I really love the thought of it self cleaning the pet hair/human hair off the filter. As of right now I haven’t had really anything in the tray when it tells me to empty it. I have had it on auto mode and tested it out by spraying Lysol air sanitizer near the area it is in. Lights turned red and you could tell it was pulling in the smell around it harder then lowered down. It is extremely quiet, even on the manual high setting. Just a slightly louder sound. I would recommend to someone only because the urine smell from the pee pads I change everyday is better than before.

It has been a great addition to my apartment and works beautifully for my kitty cat and me!
I love that it self-cleans daily and that there is an auto setting for the fan speed depending on the air quality it detects. I have even slept with it on the highest setting, and it helps my nose not be so stuffy when I wake up. Personally, I did not think the noise from any of the settings was too loud, but that would be personal preference. I would recommend it for anyone with pets!
