Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really though it would be more difficult to replace an ac wall unit. This made it so convenient as it's a universal fit. Having air emissions a must for me as the weather gets warmer. I really like you can control this with wifi, its a great bonus. It cools so nice and isn't loud like my older one.

Easy to use A/C unit!

Does a great job of cooling our space and getting the humidity under control. I love that it runs off an app and can be controlled when you aren’t near the unit.

Great window unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great window unit that has excellent cooling capability. Installation was a breeze and I could do it by myself in about 30 minutes. It really keeps my room cool without disruptive noise. My energy bill hasn't gone up by too much at all and I can live in comfort now that the hot weather has started here in Florida.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Friedrich Uni-Fit Smart 10,000 BTU unit to replace an old through-the-wall AC, and honestly, I’m kind of in love with it (is that weird?). Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly into the existing sleeve without a bunch of DIY drama—huge win.
The cooling power is impressive. It handles my living room (around 400 sq ft) like a champ, even on those brutally hot days. What really sold me, though, were the smart features. I can turn it on from my phone before I get home, and by the time I walk in, it’s already cool. Plus, I’ve yelled at Alexa to turn it down more times than I’d like to admit.
It’s also surprisingly quiet—like, “I can actually watch TV without cranking the volume” quiet. The energy saver mode helps keep the electric bill in check too, which I definitely appreciate.
Only minor complaint? The app setup took a few extra minutes and a little patience. But once it was up and running, it’s been smooth sailing.
Overall, if you’re looking for a powerful, quiet, smart AC that doesn’t require a full window commitment—this is the one. Totally worth it.
