This is a simple range hood with a light and two speed fan. It does the job but is very noisy, I mean like there is a jet in the kitchen. We chose to vent it to the outside rather than recirculate the filter air or vent into the attic. Neither of those choices seemed to make sense. It is powerful enough to get steam and cooking smells out so I'm well satisfied with it's basic function, which is to get the air out of the kitchen. I would recommend this unit as long as you can live with the noise.

It has a selection to run the fan on low. This does not make so much noise in the kitchen.

Nice Low Cost Hood

Installed this hood during our kitchen remodel. Nice clean fit. Dissapointed that the light does not have a cover to go over the bulb. Fan operation is good.
