The worst Wi-Fi enable device

The absolute lowest IQ engineers worked on this to ensure connecting the device to any new (Galaxy 24+) phone does not work. As an oven it's fine, but amazed at how a lack of testing allowed this to pass through.

Doesn’t work properly! The computer panel is only operating on the left side. Therefore not all the cooking features can be used. Waiting for a repair person. Couldn’t reinstall our old one because they changed our circuit breaker. So disappointed

The GE Profile PTS7000 wall oven has a solid build and acceptable cooking performance, but it suffers from a serious usability flaw that overshadows its strengths: the end-of-cycle alert.
Rather than using a clear, sharp beep, the oven relies on a soft, melodic tone. Even at maximum volume, this sound is not sufficiently loud or distinct to function as a reliable timer alert. In a normal kitchen environment with ambient noise, it is easily missed. For elderly users in particular, the sound does not register as an urgent or meaningful signal that cooking has completed.
The sound settings are limited to volume adjustment and repetition (single or continuous). There is no option to switch to a standard beep or more prominent alert, which would be far more effective. This limitation is not disclosed prior to purchase and is typically discovered only after installation.
A timer alert is a core function of any oven. When that alert cannot be reliably heard, it undermines both convenience and safety, potentially leading to missed timers and overcooked food. For an appliance in this price range, this design choice is difficult to justify.
Because this issue directly affects basic usability, especially for older adults, it is significant enough to warrant a one-star rating. Buyers should be aware that the end-of-cycle alert may not meet expectations for audibility or clarity.

Disaster of an oven!

First oven kept tripping breaker EVERY SINGLE NOGHT. After replacing breakers (4 total) many repair appointments (each in 4 hour windows of time), non-show appts, parts not arriving before repair people, back-ordered parts, we were finally issued a new oven. New oven didn’t work AT ALL. Wouldn’t even come on. Screen didn’t work. Had to start repair service all over again. Finally repaired the unit, but it did not work any differently. 3rd oven ordered. Waiting for installation. If this had not been a new home build, we would have went with a different brand.8 months and counting and still don’t have a working oven. What is wrong with GE products???
