I can’t really give this a fair review in that we’ve only used it 6 or 8 times….but so far, under limited use, we are very happy. I have baked and broiled only. I like the broiler…seems consistent and hot. Baking, so far, as expected. Looking forward to using convected roasting soon. Very nice to look at…the handle is beefy and the display is simple and easy to navigate. We use our cooktop and grill more often….but so far I would recommend this item, particularly if you have matching appliances as we do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Greetings - Thank you so much for the review. This means a lot to us.
We still appreciate an early review and first impression, sometimes that is the moments you really know if you like something. Regardless, we're super happy to see you are enjoying this oven so far. You have made a great choice for your kitchen. Also, when you get a moment, make sure to check out the smart features. You can manage temperatures, get notifications, and even software updates all from your smart phone.
Thanks again for choosing Café. We hope you have a great week. - Jonathon@Café
I love that the Cafe Platinum appliances are very easy to wipe off-- no lingering finger prints! The only thing I do not like about the Microwave is that it is not always responsive by touching the glass- so you have to open the door to see the controls. Thankfully the installation contractor mentioned the issue.
We had a Dacor oven that was on its last legs. The Cafe oven was suggested as a suitable replacement. After only having it for a few weeks, I can say that this is the best oven I have ever used! The temperature is right on and the oven heats evenly.
We have not yet used all of the features, but we plan to!
It is too soon to provide a full assessment of the Cafe Wall Oven as it was installed less than two weeks ago and I have not tried all modes. It fit perfectly in the cutout and looks very elegant. The workmanship appears solid and the finish is refined. Posted temperatures appear well calibrated when cross-checked with an oven thermometer. However, I am not accustomed to ceding my control to the automatic settings built into the technology, and the manual does not provide enough detail. The BAKE setting apparently uses heat both from the bottom element and "also from the upper element." Regular Bake modes are generally preferred for layer cakes but I have already learned that this regular mode requires downward adjustment of both temperature and time in a recipe to prevent over baking or browning. This mode operates more like Convection Bake modes I have used in previous ovens. Pan roasting with convection works well, but again, requires vigilance to prevent over-cooking. It is entirely unclear whether or not there is a "pure convection" mode that uses only the fan plus convection element. The App is an amusing addition but is required for certain settings and updates. Older users may resist using this or find it confusing. I suggest that you add a page to the User's Guide that provides an illustrative symbol for which heating elements are used with each mode and recommended food types best suited to each. The current cooking guide lacks details that would be helpful and when two modes are suggested, differences in time per unit, e.g., lbs., as well as temperature settings in the two suggested modes would be helpful. It will take time and experimentation to master this oven. An on-line course would be helpful. Current videos are designed to sell the product's features, but not how to use the oven.
