We just remodeled our kitchen and bought all GE Cafe appliances.
The oven’s appearance is sleek and modern. The oven cooks evenly, and quickly. The controls are easy to use.

Misalighned and supposedly can't be fixed

The control panel does not line up with the oven and supposedly can't be fixed. We just built a brand new house using these appliances, so I'm not sure if that is true or an excuse from the builder, installer or manufacturer. Would sure think the control panel would be flush with the edge of the over right below it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the oven and all the features it has and it does an amazing job…however, the one complaint I have is the shelves are very difficult to slide in and out and it sticks especially when I have a casserole baking on it. I assume it’s new and with time it will slide in and out easier.

DO NOT BUY GE CAFE APPLIANCES

We do limited household baking and this product allows leakage and staining between glass window layers requiring disassembly of door for cleaning. HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN WHOLE GE CAFE LINE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH 3 OF 4 APPLIANCES IN FIRST YEAR. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
