All-in-one, but smaller size limits battery life

I was an early adopter of the Mk3i - 43mm watch, purchasing my original Mk3i shortly after it was released in 2024. As a female dive professional, who is admittedly petite, and someone who competes in long course triathlon, this watch does it all for me. It makes my training day to day and diving simple. The only qualm I have is the battery. I switched to Garmin almost 7 years ago now and loved my original Fenix watch. I was so exhausted charging my older smart watch every single day. My fenix fixed that for me. The Mk3i is markedly more limited in it's battery life. But when you consider what you get with this watch for diving, that tradeoff may be worth it for you. For me, when I am working leading dives and doing 4-6 dives per day, this watch becomes one I have to charge daily. So make that a consideration when looking to purchase. The customization, ruggedness, and all-in-one for my smart watch needs made switching to this watch an easy decision for me. With Garmin adding dive capabilities into the Fenix line up, that might sway me back in that direction when the time comes for me to replace my Mk3i one day.

I have had an apple watch in the past, thought it was neat to get text message alerts on my wrist. I thought surely, that Garmin wouldn't do as good of a job with notifications... I was wrong. This thing is an amazing smart watch. I bought for the dive computer, and wound up wearing it everyday because it does so much more than keep me out of deco!

Great all around watch/computer

Great for diving and every day wearing! All the functions work great. Its fairly easy to figure out how to use and easy to step through menu items. My only ding would be battery life for this model. The 51mm version has much longer time between charges.

Replaced three watches for me.

I love this watch. I initially thought it would replace only my older dive watch and running watch. I planned to continue using my Apple Watch for daily wear. However, it does almost everything my Apple Watch did so I wear it every day.

The charge keeps for days, so many features it’s almost overwhelming. I use it to track all my runs and gym sessions and then all my dives. I’m so happy with my purchase. I love my watch so much.

A dive computer that I wear everyday

This is a good looking dive computer that I can I wear everyday. It offers significantly more capabilities than my other bulky dive computer. Battery life is very good.

Love my Mk3i

Bought for scuba diving but died so much more. The health monitoring and scabs computer will be used a lot. So many features was overwhelming at first but learn a new one every day, it gets easier. Started using for multiple other exercises and sleep monitoring.
