We bought these a month ago and I am so happy we did. They add just the right amount of storage and give the washer and dryer the perfect height. I would definitely recommend adding these to you purchase.

Drawers not removable

Dadgum drawers in my previous Whirlpool risers were removable. That made it possible to adjust the height of the risers from inside the pedestals and leveling out both the washer and drier were easy. BUT, Electorlux design engineers took the cheap route. The drawers in these pedestals are not removable and to get both the washer and drier to the same height requires a return service call where both appliances will have to be moved to a level area, placed side by side, leveled out, and then placed back in the laundry room. Now, if the installers had been experienced, on the ball, and paying attention to such details, this would not be necessary. HOWEVER, good help is hard to find these days. OF COURSE, IF THE DADGUM DRAWERS WERE REMOVABLE, THEN I COULD LEVEL BOTH APPLIANCES!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When installing any pedestals we recommend following the Installation Guide verbatim. Although the drawers may not be removable, we were able to see that you are able to raise or lower the leveling legs. I bought about a month ago and so happy that we did. Glad we spent the extra money for these pedestals. Love the fact that we don’t have to break our backs bending over to unload washer & dryer.

Horrible feet

I've had two of these for about a year now but the problem started on day 1. When you try to slide the pedestal back into place with the machine ontop of it the rubber part of the feet come off. They year off in such a way that getting them back on is impossible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
