High speed connectivity

Overwhelming at fiest but manageable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I am not super tech savvy! When I opened the Targus mobile dock I was overwhelmed because the user guide didn't really explain anything in an "explain it like I'm 5" kind of way like how to actually use it. It just tells you the features. I had to go look up more information online so it turned into a whole experience that was slightly annoying. The main function I was interested in was it having SD card slots so I could move pictures to my computer from my phone. I connected the device to my computer and my computer acknowledged the decice easily so I stuck the micro SD card into it and then I jjst had to find it in the files and it was really easy to move them over so no problems there at all! I also had no problems connecting to another monitor so I could use 2 but honestly didn't see the point of the middleman device because I can already use my 2nd monitor with just a usb-c cord so for traveling it seems more or less the same size for packing. I do love how lightweight the Targus is. It's slim and not bulky and would be really easy to carry around as needed for work. I wish it could function as a capture card of corts as well though because that would be really handy for gaming. Speaking of gaming though I did also connect a game controller through it and tested it with a game and it worked perfectly! Will definitely get use that way by me often. I didn't test the ethernet or anything like that because it's not relevant to me but ai could charge my phone through it if I needed to.

Reliable, portable dock the helped us revisit prec

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dual video mobile dock ended up being helpful in a way I didn’t expect. I’m currently going through my mom’s house after her passing, and we found a camera along with several SD cards that we weren’t sure if they had anything on them. This dock made it incredibly easy to connect to an external display, read the cards and view the memories together! It’s very portable and convenient especially when you’re on the go. I’ve always trusted the Targus name and this product definitely reflects that same quality and reliability.

It’s especially nice for slim laptops that are short on ports. It’s sleek, slim, and quite space saving. It feels very durable and helps dissipate heat during heavy use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Targus USB hub with ethernet seems to function as expected. Plugging the hub into a Windows 11 laptop required only a computer restart to have the ethernet functioning. Speeds were notably higher than the wireless connection on this laptop. The hub was also connected to an iPad with a USB-C port which yielded instant access to the wired network.
The next test was running multiple devices on the hub. An external hard drive, external DVD drive, and SD card were all connected and lightly tested for functionality while the ethernet was connected. No lack of functionality was noted even without the Power Distribution port used. There was not an opportunity to test the HDMI ports, but PD connection should probably be considered at some point. The laptop did indicate charging with the PD port connected.
So all in all it works as expected and appears to be of solid construction with attention to detail in construction such as a positive click when inserting a Micro SD, and enough protrusion so you don't have to have stick your fingernail into the slot to insert or eject.
This type of device greatly expands the capability of a computer, which may not have enough ports due to slim design. I did receive this product free in exchange for my honest review from Influenster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well to connect my dual monitors via HDMI ports and a USB multiport adapter via the USB port, I think most people would be happy with this adapter, if these are the ports you require. This is one device that you might consider an extended warranty, This was the first one that worked as expected hopefully it lasts! Works great, easy to set up.
