Great set, with some caveats

Beautiful set overall. There are some defects (I actually had to request a new base because part of it looked unfinished/chipped where you can see bare ceramic) in the finish, but seeing that these are probably handmade, that is to be expected. My biggest complaint is that the milled strainer, while beautiful and substantial, does not sift the matcha effectively, clogging up, probably due to the thickness and how few holes there are. I've shifted beck to a regular tea strainer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great except sieve

The spout is perfect, it doesn’t dribble at all. The other reviewers were right about the sieve — it sucks — but everything else has been great! The whisk makes great foam, overall well designed product!

Nice set, feels premium, looks great. sifter falls a little short.

Looks nice visually and matches other Fellow products on my countertop. Feels premium.
Sieve/sifter is honestly quite bad and only real complaint. It takes an unreasonable amount of time to actually get all the matcha powder to pass through; I generally end up wasting some, since it's not worth the effort trying to run the oddly shaped spoon over the oddly concave sifter to get fractions of a gram to filter through.
Overall, pretty pleased, despite the sieve falling a little short. It shouldn't really be a deterrent if you like the look of the set, since you can swap in another easily enough if you want.

We love this Match set, it matches all the other Fellow products perfectly and has the same high quality and ease of use we have come to expect from Fellow. This would make a great gift as well.
