[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC to replace one that gave out on us and was shocked by how great it worked. There were times when the temp dropped that it was downright cold! I actually bought two and they both worked great until the control panel on one stopped working. No worries though, Frigidaire Customer Service was fantastic, they gave me detailed instructions, explained my options and the full process. I was and am completely happy with my purchases and would recommend this product to everyone.

This is the fifth Frigidaire air conditioner we have purchased. They all have styrofoam built in and it always becomes moldy with no way to clean it.

Keeps it cool

Awesome Air Conditioner

I have had other window unit air conditioners, but none compare to Frigidaire. This unit is quiet, cools well and remote thermostat is great!

A bit noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This A/C unit is a bit noisier than I expected it to be, and for an 8000 btu unit, it doesn't cool as well as it should. It does average job of cooling the room. I have a GE 6150 btu unit that seems to cool just as well as this one does.

If it is over- or under-sized for your space, it may cool less efficiently. The noise level of this model should remain between 55 and 58dB, depending on the fan speed. Please ensure it is properly installed in the window with all insulating material and there are no loose components vibrating against the chassis.
