Perfect window a/c unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been years since needing a win day ow a/c unit. I was very pleased I bought this unit. It cool AND DEHUMIDIFIES. It’s has several other features that make this the perfect unit - from its “sleep mode” to its “timer selection”. Very satisfied and nice unit for the money

Does not cool like advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works but will not cool the room as advertised, I went off the square footage measurement and have to turn the unit down 10 more degrees so to get the room to 76 I have to turn the unit down to 66.

For optimal performance, selecting the correct sized air conditioner for the room’s square footage is essential for efficient cooling, and larger is not always better.
If you have the correct size for your room, and the air conditioner does not feel cool to your liking, you want to ensure that the filter is cleaned. You also want to ensure that the front of air conditioner is not blocked by drapes, blinds, furniture, etc. As this can restrict air distribution.

Great AC Great Price

Capable and intuitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so much happier with my 8,000 BTU Frigidaire than with the 6,000 BTU Haier it replaced. The Haier was noisy and struggled. The Frigidaire has excellent controls, including having a second thermostat *in the remote control*, and overall feels like a more premium product. (I've never gotten insulation panels with an a/c before.)
