No functional belt keeper

Belt Bag Sling is as with all Tumi products beautifully made.
My problem and maybe yours is that the bag does not have a workable belt keeper. The strap is provided with two cheap plastic belt holders that secures nothing. The problem is that excess strap has nothing to hold it in place and when wearing the unanchored strap hangs loose in my case for about a foot. I wear size 40 inch belt. I went to two stores for help and finally shipped it myself. I’m waiting to see what Tumi will do. I need the bag, but it looks like Tumi doesn’t need my business.
