I purchased this camera to replace an old camera of another brand that was mounted inside the window looking out of the house. It had an IR light for illumination but it reflected off the glass so I had to turn the light off and I didn’t get useful video at night. The Wyze Window Cam solves that problem with the mount flush against the glass to avoid reflections and does not require a light for illumination and I get excellent video in low light at night and it’s in color. The flush mount does prevent you from aiming the camera but you get a pretty large field of view. The camera is also very affordable. I already have a Wyze Bulb Cam and the software allows me to monitor both cameras from the same app on my phone. My neighborhood had an unfortunate road rage incident that involved gunfire and when the detective knocked on my door looking for witnesses, his eyes lit up when I told him I had a camera in my window that caught the offenders as they drove by.

I bought two of these cameras and love the quality. The one downside is that outside lights dull the visibility if the camera is facing the light. If the light is behind the camera, it enhances the view. Keep this in mind when placing.
The camera has a great picture however after getting a high endurance card from Sandisk to record, the playback is often missing video, stutters, and is pixelated. Not sure why.
I would recommend this to a friend!
