Not a good design for my needs. The width of coverage and depth of coverage are not enough. I can see more with the cam pan. The night vision is excellent. Much better than my other Wyze cameras

My first security camera system

This was my first experience with the installation and use of a security camera and was very pleased with the ease and versatility of the installation and setup. My only concern, if you will, is the inability to allow the SDcard video to those you have “shared” the camera system with. I believe that security issue could be delegated to the “owner” of the system. Overall, I like it and have ordered more.

didn't like how the unit stuck out from inside the front door sidelight window. the cord looked awful strung over to the outlet. Also could not adjust the direction. It sits flat against the window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Specialized Flat Mounting: Wyze Window Cam is designed to sit flat against the window using an adhesive mount. This helps reduce glare and reflections, but it does limit the ability to adjust the camera’s direction once installed.

Cord Management: We include an extra-long micro USB cable and cable clips to help with tidy cord management. However, we understand that the cord may still be visible depending on your outlet location and window setup.

Mounting Limitations: The adhesive is intended for a strong, hassle-free mount, but it does mean the camera cannot be angled or repositioned after installation. The included mounting stickers are one-time use, so it’s important to choose the final location carefully.

Camera and compatiblity

The camera may be ok, as I was not able to fully use it. The reason is because the app would only connect to the 2.4 GHz. I have both 2.4 and 5, and the system would switch automatically, meaning, as indicated from the product, it can only use 2.4. It is a struggle to disable one and keep another. So, I opted to purchase another unit that is dual band, and it is working fine.
