Bought two of these because of non stop people walking their dogs in my yard. Sold as not needing a subscription but it doesn't do much without one. Also unless someone is one or two feet in front of camera you cant make out what they look like. People walk through my yard and camera doesn't detect anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2. Review detection settings - Open the Wyze app and go to your camera’s Settings Tap Detection Settings Set Motion Sensitivity to High Tap Detection Zone and temporarily turn it off while testing
