Good AC. Sealing is bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall good AC, bought it in addition to FGRC0844U1. It is really quite compare to 2018 model. It can be easily modified to blew air to the top, instead of front. The only concern is the sealing. It visible that frigidaire decided to save money on provided sealing kit compare to gallery units of 2018. Before it is been provided 2 EVA panels to cover the plastic. Now I have to invent how to seal it for winter.

Invertere AC unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire inverter is exactly the technology and cooling we needed. Works very well and took a 97 degree day and cooled LR/DR to 72 with ease. I bought another unit for upstairs. Technology of the inverter does not slam on hard, it is easy and variable. All good!

So Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even after reading reviews of this and other inverter A/C's, I just can't get over how quiet this is compared to the GE model we replaced! I just leave it on Auto fan speed and let it adjust as needed. We sleep like babies since there's no CLUNK when the compressor kicks on, and the motor is ridiculously quiet. Our one issue is the non-dimmable air quality light. I ended up putting a piece of tape over it, which ruins the sleek profile of the unit. But it was like having a green nightlight while we slept. Other than that, we love it!

Best bedroom window A/C (and any other room)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I like a cool/quiet bedroom at night and because of that we have a mini split set up. Well that system died and the old window A/C was called back into service.... nope, every time it cycled we woke up. I investigated QUIET window A/Cs and this model got a tremendous amount of positive reviews. The unit is everything we hoped it would be. Keeps the room at set temperature without issue and is quiet, quiet, quiet. Installation went fine but is heavier than some models and at 76 a 2nd set of younger hands helped. The green air quality light bar is non adjustable and noticeably but not annoyingly bright at night. Nothing a piece of tape can't fix but something to keep in mind. Would we buy it again? Absolutely.

Shortly after using, I realized the cooling wasn't shutting off at the set temp, it just kept running! After contacting Frigidaire directly, they offered to send a new unit. Waiting for it to arrive to make sure it works!
