Very nice AC Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this unit in a bedroom. It is a very larger unit for a single bedroom, but it gets the room very cold with little effort. The box is large and heavy. Very easy to install. I wish it would have came with some insulation material to put on the sides where the expandable wings are to box out the outside light and heavy. But it works great and pumps out some very cold air even on low.

5/5 – Huge Upgrade & Allergy Saver (Just a Little Loud)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to replace my old AC after discovering it was full of black mold and had basically given up—blowing nothing but hot air. I ended up getting this new Frigidaire unit and I’m so glad I did.
One of the biggest game-changers for me has been the PureAir filter. I have pretty bad seasonal allergies, and this has honestly helped so much during peak allergy season. I noticed the difference almost immediately.
It also cools my room super quickly, and there’s no weird or musty smell when you first turn it on—just clean, fresh air. The only downside is the noise level. It’s definitely on the louder side, but it kind of works out because it sounds like white noise, which actually helps drown out my noisy neighbors and street sounds.
Overall, it’s been a major upgrade and totally worth it for my health and sanity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A/C works as it is supposed to work. The wings on the left and right that seal the unit are not as good as the ones from 5 years ago, they could do better with those, but the remote is better.

Quality at an affordable price

Although I haven't used this unit yet I have owned Frigidaire AC's and appliances before which is why I made this purchase. Their products are very well made and dependable for many years of enjoyment. I'll circle back and update this once I've installed and used my new AC unit

Do NOT buy any Frigidaire Wifi products as they discontinue connectivity!

This has happened to me with WGRC1244T1 12,000 BTU model. It worked perfectly fine with the Frigidaire app last year. Then this year I tried connecting to it and the app returns:
This model (FGRC1244T1) doesn't work with this app.
error code: ECPA011
Complete garbage. The air conditioner was purchase so it could be controlled remotely via wifi. Now 6 years after purchase it doesn't work. Absolutely no reason for support of this model to be discontinued by the Frigidaire app
