Went from MARQ Gen 2 to Fenix 8 Pro Microled

My MARQ Adventurer Gen 2 was getting long in the tooth (screen burn in!) so decided to go back to the Fenix line for a few reasons. First, I wanted MicroLED and there was no refresh of MARQ in sight (oh well, Garmin?!) Second, I wanted back into a larger 51mm platform. I’ve had the new watch now for about a month and I love it. Despite all of the groaning I heard about battery life, mine is great with a charge once every week or two. In other words, no issues, but then again I don’t leave the display on all the time, use sleep modes, etc. If you use the watch smartly, battery won’t be an issue. I’ve not signed up for all of the connectivity features because frankly I don’t need them. I always have an iPhone, and never go that far off the grid. All in all, love the watch, especially the display quality and brightness! And for tracking my training and giving me all the data I want, Garmin is still unmatched.
Looks great on my wrist. Watch has me working out more than ever and tracks my workouts. Very bright MICROLED display and flashlight. Only downside so far is doesn’t track my sleep as well as my Apple Ultra. So, I just wear my Ultra when sleeping till they fix the issue. But for the most part, I love love love this watch.
I have been a Garmin user for years and I'm an early adopter for new tech so I was excited to try the new MICROLED Screen. It's just plain beautiful. I already raced a full marathon with it, using all the functions and music features, and the battery was just fine. A 10-day battery life is more than plenty for me and as long as the watch lasts an entire event, that's what I need and count on. So far I am completely happy with this purchase!
You most be crazy can't even call no body iam better buying a Samsung or apple make no cent

Our product support team would be more than happy to get you all set up and working with your calls from the watch. You can reach them Monday through Friday 7a-7p CST at 800-800-1020, option 4 then option 2.
I call it a piece of equipment because it feels like you have entire group of people looking after you. I have to admit I went all out on this one and went for the top of the line. I really do get happy every time I look at it. Overall Garmin knocked it out of the park on this beast.
