camera performs exactly as you would expect from description on website (no zoom etc), it has filters to experiment with (which give great vintage style pictures) and comes with a pre installed memory card giving you plenty of chances to get your best shot, great fun waiting to see what you actually captured and is so lightweight but still robust...contemplating trying the video version as off to Nashville and Japan soon so maybe good to get some vintage shots.I fully recommend investing in one as its great for children to try out too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this camera! It delivers great picture quality, and I'm super grateful for the fast shipping. However, when I transfer the photos to my iPhone, the date and time show up incorrectly. Is there a way to reset or update the date and time?
I have really enjoyed this little point and shoot camera. It is super lightweight, which does kind of make it feel a little cheap BUT as someone who hikes, backpacks, camps, and travels a lot with two little kids cutting any weight is essential. I can bring this along with me where I wouldn't bring my Sony A600. I get to take higher quality and nostalgic photos, testing composition and light, while having to wait until I get home to pull them up on my computer. This has encouraged me to take less photos, be more present, and experience creativity and the excitement of delayed gratification.
The one thing I would suggest is the fake camera clicking noise is a little tacky and feels delayed so I am not sure when the photo is actually being taken. And you have to keep in mind that the viewfinder is not the same composition as what the lens sees. It would be really really really cool if they made a camera that fixed this problem and had interchangeable lenses. A girl can dream!
The camera itself is fine, I haven't really explored all it's features. The reason why for this is because the shutter makes an artificial shutter sound that can't be turned off.
Very cheaply constructed - I feel like I'm going to break it every time I use it. Decent picture quality but certainly does not give the nostalgic feeling it's intended to. I won't be purchasing any more Camp Snap products.
Feels great but the output is under my expectations for what I paid for. I can definitely get a better quality camera that is similar to this at a cheaper price.
We have CampSnap cameras for our kids, but got the CS-PRO for my husband and I to use. I love the standard high quality shot and two high quality vintage options, plus a black and white. My main reason for loving these products, as always, is that opposed to grabbing my phone to take a picture, which often takes me out of the moment with an unexpected text, email, or doom scroll, the CS-PRO takes the shot like a whisper, and keeps my feet planted right in the moment with my family, where I belong. And my kids don’t notice the camera, so it’s perfect for candid shots.
