I was really, really excited about getting back to what it felt like to take pictures as a kid (on disposable cameras) & no screens! Just point and shoot. I’m pretty disappointed with the photo quality though. The pictures either come out under exposed when I don’t use the flash or over exposed when I use the flash. Many are blurry too. I think part of it is that we are all used to what our smart phone cameras can capture and then perfect with their internal automatic processing software, but part of it is also that this camera is not as good as I hoped. I wanted it to replace using my phone camera, but now I just take photos on both, out of fear I won’t capture an important moment well on the campsnap pro. I really wanted to love this, but it’s just not that great.
I brought the CampSnap Pro along for my Nashville trip, and it exceeded every expectation. The camera handled bright streets, indoor venues, and nighttime scenes with ease, producing sharp, lively images that feel instantly nostalgic. It’s lightweight, reliable, and genuinely fun to shoot with. Highly recommended for travel.
Very happy with the CS-PRO I purchased last month - great quality images especially for the price. My only complaint is it does not come with a lens cap - which is odd considering it's marketed as being able to sit in a pocket. Otherwise, the camera is exactly what I need it to be & more.
The Camp Snap Pro is a fun little camera to have around. It's light enough and small enough to take just about anywhere, and since it's reasonably inexpensive, you are not constantly dawdling over it. The limited features make shooting an interesting challenge, making you focus on composition rather than fidgeting with a bunch of settings. And the filters and data transfer operate as you would expect. There are a few things that I wish were a little different: I wish there was an indicator that the flash was charged, rather than a beep telling you that it isn't. Maybe having the battery lights flash once or something. Just a little clunky to turn on the flash, then wait a little, then try to take a picture and have it beep at you, then wait some more, then try again and hope it works. It would also be nice if you could wake up the camera after it goes to sleep by switching to any setting, rather than having to switch all the way to off and then back on. The last thing is a I wish there was better information on how the camera is handling exposure. It seems to be doing some evaluative metering based on the scene, but I've not yet been able to pin down how it's deciding what to expose for.
Okay I just got it and like it so far .. however I’m extremely surprised and confused that not only does it not come with a lens cap or have one available on the website , the lens’s never closes so it can very easy get stretched or dirty. This is just a very confusing feature to me that I was surprised to not see discussed more often… Also it doesn’t come with any type of wrist clasp which I think for the price point is rather surprising
