Amazing camera! Not only was this camera lightweight and easy to carry on big hikes, but it was also simple to use and to direct others to use for me (to take pictures of my group and me). The flash feature is wonderful but does drain the battery quickly, so I avoided using it as much as possible. Other than that, I am extremely satisfied with the product and the photos it captured. I have grown up in the digital age of checking photos immediately; this was a welcome change and actually limited the photos I took and encouraged me to seek out the "perfect shot" or capture unique candid moments. In all, this little camera is an awesome tool for nature lovers and those who enjoy detaching from the digital age, but still want cool pictures for scrapbooks, photo albums, and even social media. Furthermore, this camera is an awesome conversation starter, particularly for me as a young person. Most people I encountered wanted to know all about it and the experience of using it. It was an awesome way to share stories and make new friends. I will add, however, that I could do without the sound effects, which make the camera feel a bit like a child's toy.

So far so good and overall I like using the camera since my daughter liberated my original Camp Snap. It's still very liberating without a screen and fun to download the pics to see how the came out. I do have a few suggestions: 1) It would be nice if the two vintage filter settings had names to help remember what they do, not just VTG1 and VTG2; 2) The flash button also needs labels, even if just pictograms; and 3) At this price it would be nice if a lanyard and a case were included, or at least a lens cap.

I am so happy with this camera, the quality of the photos is excellent. I mostly use the standard setting & it produces very clear photos with great color balance. It feels like an upgrade from the original model, however I do miss the capability to create my own filters. It looks very elegant, feels sturdier & I’m glad I purchased the usbc cable wrist strap. I still wish the shutter sound was easier to turn off as it’s very loud & calls attention to when you’re taking candid photos. Regardless, extremely happy with my purchase.

I bought this camera about two months ago for a trip and I’m so happy I did. The picture quality has left me and many others blown away. Everywhere I went I was asked about this camera. THIS IS A MUST HAVE. I promise you won’t regret it !!!!!

I love all my Camp Snap products, I have the CS-8 also and use them both daily. To me, it almost feels like going back in time in an era full of AI and back to basic technology but don’t let that discourage you, these cameras hold their value in quality of the images and have yet to feel the need to edit a single photo. I would eventually like to see a zoom option on a future model!

Very fun little camera. If you're looking for a high quality camera, this ain't it. But it's not meant to be. It's an inexpensive point and shoot that has a throwback feel. It's got 2 levels of flash- bright and brighter. Stock filters are nothing to write home about, but having 4 different looks onboard and being able to make your own filters (for free) is pretty sick. If this thing had a slightly better sensor (I recognize the price point aspect) this would be an easy 5 stars. One thing I didn't expect was how reminiscent it actually was to shooting film. Take pics and see em later- that delayed gratification makes it all the more fun for me.
And for the people like me who just want to know some cons. It's got a meh sensor that definitely doesn't love low light, camera body is made entirely of plastic and don't get me started on the "shutter" sound. Press the picture-taker button, there's a slight delay and then a low quality recording of a "shutter".
Throw it in your pocket, take some pics, who cares, have fun.
