Great concept, but noise is annoying

I love the concept, but after receiving it and using it a few times, there are things I wish could be different. I am not a fan of the noise it makes when you turn it on and turn the dials, it feels gimmicky and cheap because the noise is so fake sounding. I’d rather it have no noise at all.
The second thing I wish was that I could see the filters. I love the options of different settings, but I wish you could see them as you’re taking the picture.
Overall the concept is great, it is easy to put the photos on your computer, but I wish there was no noise and that you could see the filters when you turn the dial. I’m definitely keeping it and using it, but I am not as into it as I was hoping I would be. Those two things take away from the experience of the camera for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Go To Everyday Camera

I bought this camera a little over a month ago and have used it a bunch of times since having it. Overall I really love the upgrades from the original CampSnap1 that I have been using. The built in filters are a huge win for the camera as well as the upgraded image quality. I also have yet to have a connectivity issue while uploading directly to my phone. It seems they really took those reviews into consideration when creating the pro. There are a few cons but I wouldn’t say they’re deal breakers. The first would be the increased size vs the original camp snap or the even slimmer snap2. Either way with that that being said, the camera is still very lightweight. It just doesn’t fit very well in a pocket. It does come with attachment points on each side for a camera strap or wrist strap. The second con is the ease of twisting the on/off / filter dial on the top. I wish it was a little harder to turn the dial so it will not accidentally turn on or change the filter type. Overall I do really love the Camp Snap Pro. I wouldn’t trade the 16mp for the smaller size. But I will probably invest in a campsnap2 just when I really want the pocket camera but with the built in filters as well. Screen free cameras are my new go to option for everyday photography!

Bought it for a trip, and vintage 2 mode really brings out so much character. It being so lightweight was great. Not a perfect film replacement, but it was convenient and carried the vibe

All of the kids said it was the best gift ever. I gave 4 of them for grad gifts to all different ages and my son being one traveling around Asia said best thing I ever bought him. Loves it so much.

Very fun

I’ve been using the camp snap pro for a few months now and overall really enjoying it. Definitely takes some getting used to, and while not all the photos are always great (probably mostly user error) I’ve captured some truly incredible ones. I wish the dial wasn’t so sensitive, I have accidentally turned it on a few times by hitting it and it has been left on to drain the battery quickly. Also wish the shutter was a wee bit faster.

Pro vs 2

I love it, however the dial turns on easy in a bag. I also have the campsnap 2 which has additional filters over the pro - however with that said, I do prefer the dial for the filters over the button that the new camera offers. So, in the future maybe the dial be for the filters, and the front switch be for on and off as well as the flash?
