for some reason these cartridges always get lines in the print out long before the ink is gone.

You can always expect good quality from HP. Wouldn't use any off brand in my HP printers, and I have 3 of them.

This ink is recommended for my HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One. Each time I have ordered ink it arrives as promised and works very well.
