Shifter mis-shifts - not worth money

paid premium for fanatec and the quality doesn't match the price. It does not stay in gear or mis-shifts quite often.

Garbage product from trash company that don't care

Misshifts constantly, has been a piece of crap with potential for all of its life. I kept thinking just maybe they'd fix w/ updates but ... nope .. still can't use or before lap 5 it'll pick up a 2nd to 3rd shift as going to 1st or reverse and ... spin..

Hey, we are really sorry to hear that. The team is currently working on a fix and that will be released as soon as it's tested. Until this hotfix is available you can successfully calibrate your shifter by ignoring the calibration order shown on the app. The correct calibration order should be: R, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, N.

Great shifter with some gear resistance like a real shifter needs. I had to mod my TH8A to get that feeling. Now my entire setup is Fanatec and couldnt be happier!

J already know themat if I'm dealing with this no problem then its most likely systemic and has had previous complaints! From almost the very first day I unboxed it and calibrated gears etc. It seemed like when I wanted to shift to 3nd from 2nd. It would jump to 5th gear. To the point that it was and has been almost every time. So I'm scrubbing time trying to make sure I'm in 3rd and not 5 bogging down...now if I'm lucky it will go to 5th if I shift to 3rd, now its just saying N. So when I shift and then proceed to accelerate I Def scrubb lots of time and then my balance is thrown to crap! I've had to forfeit several competitions because of the mess it caused when but happened and bc of it growing timi g balance speed i end up making fatal mistakes. I'm a fanatic customer but dumb guys I'm leaning like Simpsons to replace my expensive and brand new fanatic shifter

I've had mine for a few years now. It worked fine for a few months, then it started to miss shifts. I've tried everything to fix this problem, and it just gets worse. It's at the point where it doesn't even work. Every gear you shift is a missed shift. Nothing I do makes it any better. I was hoping for a warranty claim, but they just sent me a list of things to try to fix it. I like all of their other products, and this shifter has the potential to be really good, but it's not. If you're looking to buy a shifter for your rig, don't get this one.

This is a nice shifter. The feel is solid and engagement is positive. Makes it fun to drive with three pedals. The sequential function is quite nice as well, and fairly easy to engage as long as you remember to leave some room to access the switch when mounting to your base.
