NEVER BUY

This shifter should not even be allowed to be sold. They ALL break. Do NOT buy this. Eventually it will start missing gears, and you'll money shift. There's nothing you can do to permanently fix this. Save yourself the time and headache, and buy literally anything else.

Solid shifter that can be remedied

I've had this shifter for about 2 years now, and funny thing is when I first got it, it had the mis-shift issue. I tried a bunch of solutions I found online, but finally figured out the connections to the PCB boards riding around on the bottom of the shifter don't make good contact. I ended using some tweezers and squeezing the female portions of the individual pins inside the plugs/connections to the PCB boards so they grip tighter. I've had zero issues since then and do enjoy the solid quality feel of this shifter.

100% will give you many problems with miss shifts

You WILL have issues with this shifter. That isn't a question. It WILL give you random gears, its not "if" its "when" it will happen. Fanatec support won't be helpful with a long term solution and it WILL make you angry searching the internet for solutions that will only last a few months till it completely stops working properly. Do a few internet searches for "fanatec H pattern shifter missshifts" and just look at how many videos and discussions there are.
The rest of the shifter seems well made but its only as good as the weakest link. The sequential switch is a cool feature and will also stop working when the sensors stop registering shifts.
Its an infuriating problem and debilitating if you solely drive stick shift. its also not cheap to have to rebuy

Good materials but that’s it

I bought this shifter 2 years ago. The first 8-10 months I had zero problems, was super happy with my shifter until the first miss shifts appeared. I send it back to fanatec twice just for them to fix nothing. Then they just emailed me „solutions“ I should try to fix. I even did EVERYTHING I found in the internet but nothing seems to help. Rn I just drive it in sq mode cause it’s only mode that works properly. I have everything from Fanatec but that shifter is the worst product I’ve ever used in simracing(especially for that money) that shifter frustrated me to the point where I bought a moza shifter for half the price and zero miss shifts.
Save some money and buy ANY other shifter

Not worth the money - H mode stops working

Only works in sequential mode after a period of time. You're basically purchasing a sequential shifter since after a period of time H mode will no longer work. Sad it has such good materials for such a poor design flaw.

Bought it a few months ago, and for the first few months it was all good, but after a while gears started flickering and, by what i found on forums, i found out the board might have some pins exposed. It is just a pity, because besides that the product seemed to be very good
