I absolutely love this wheel there is something so satisfying about racing with it. It’s a bit bigger than I thought (compared to my other wheel, the Clubsport V2.5), but it’s not an issue. I love the rocker shift pedals.

For just GT style racing it works quite well. Many of the knobs will only allow one function. There a 2 knobs with12 settings each but can be programmed 1 click clockwise and one click counter-clockwise. Assetto Corso Comp. Has multiple settings avaliable where these knobs would shine but they cannot be programmed to them. It may be a platform issue as I am running on a PS5.

Premium Feel Without the Premium Price!

I honestly wasn’t expecting this level of quality.
Pictures and YouTube videos simply don’t do this wheel justice. The moment I took it out of the box, it immediately felt far more premium than I expected. The build quality is excellent, the wheel feels solid, reassuring and extremely comfortable to hold.
The grip size is perfect, the ergonomics are well thought out, and every control is positioned exactly where you expect it to be. Despite being one of Fanatec’s more affordable GT wheels, it never feels like a budget product.
After replacing the QR2 Lite with the QR2 Pro, the entire assembly became incredibly rigid and elevated the experience even further. The connection feels completely transparent, and together they genuinely deliver the feel of a premium steering wheel that competes well above its price point.
While designed primarily for GT racing, I found it equally enjoyable across Formula cars, LMPs, Hypercars and modern prototypes. Unless you’re mainly driving rally, drifting or classic road cars that require a round wheel, this wheel feels incredibly versatile and never out of place.
What impressed me the most is how quickly I forgot about the hardware itself. The wheel simply disappears in your hands, leaving only the connection with the car.
If you’re looking for a wheel that combines excellent ergonomics, decent build quality and outstanding value, I can highly recommend the CSL Steering Wheel GT3.

Τhe gaming experience and the quality of the steering wheel are very satisfying for the price, but three months after purchasing it, it started losing connection with the base almost every half hour, and I had to remove the steering wheel and reinsert it each time to get it working again. After the latest update, the problem seems to have been resolved, but I’ll have to wait a little longer to be sure.
