Cleans pet hair surprisingly well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a DC23 for almost 20 years now and it's been the absolute best purchase I have ever made even tho it wasn't cheap. Dyson has been a trusted brand in our household for many decades so I was really excited to try the V10 - it's my first cordless vacuum (yes, I'm behind the times). Assembly is easy and straightforward, machine definitely feels sturdy and too heavy. Suction is pretty good and brush rolls up pet and human hair with ease (although cleaning brush head is another matter). It's small enough to get in the corners real well but too tall to slide underneath furniture and appliances.
The construction is not well balanced, see I'm old and the top heaviness kinda makes the machine get away from me. My adult daughter enjoys cleaning with it a lot more. Complimentary from Dyson.

My practical and perfect helper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very convenient vacuum cleaner and that’s a huge plus. It’s lightweight, stylish, and works as a real helper around the house. Even though the dust bin is small, it’s easy to empty. I’m very happy with it because it has made cleaning around the house so much easier for me. Another huge advantage is the laser - it helps you spot every bit of cat hair and dust, so you won’t miss anything and your floors will look perfectly clean. gifted by dyson

Battery sucks

It breaks my heart to say this, but given the price point and how long this actually stays charged, I don’t recommend. I may have gotten a faulty one, but I had this charge for over a day only for the charge to last 20 minutes. This thing has to live on the charger and I cannot get my whole house vacuumed in one charge. ugh, I wanted to love this and I love the idea of it!! But sadly I do not recommend. Gifted by Dyson

Amazing high tech vacuum!

The suction is super powerful for a cordless vacuum, especially on pet hair, crumbs, and dust, and I love how lightweight and easy it is to maneuver around the house. The battery life lasts long enough for a full clean. It’s definitely pricey, but the convenience and performance make it feel worth it. This was gifted by dyson.

Great features!

I love the triggerless power modes, it’s a lifesaver for longer cleans, and the hour of battery life gives me plenty of time to clean my whole space. As someone with pets, the conical bars funnels hair straight into the bin without getting tangled. Just easy and simple to use. It’s powerful and saves me so much time!

Pretty great vacuum. Needs a few adjustments

The Dyson vacuum is made of sturdy plastic, though it feels like it might snap if enough force were applied. The catch bin is easy to empty, but you should make sure you are directly over a trash can. I accidentally emptied dust all over my floor by holding it too high. I also wish the height was adjustable, as, at 5 feet tall, it almost feels too tall for me to use. Complimentary from Dyson.

So good

The vacuum is potent and detangles all the hair on the floor. It Is so easy to use, and to clean. The battery last longer than my old vacuum too. I just loved it. Gifted by Dyson.

The Dyson V10 genuinely maintained strong suction power like it said. It took what nooo other vacuum took so far in my life and I was shocked!! It's super versatile, easily switching between a stick vacuum and a handheld for quick clean-ups. Battery life is also decent. Emptying the bin is pretty hygienic with its "point and shoot" mechanism. The main downsides are usually the price:( Overall, it's a powerful and convenient vacuum that performs really well for everyday cleaning.
