I love this sander, but the random orbit plate has broken. I have tried asking for your help with buying the new part, but they have not replied. I love the tools, but I dislike the service immensely!

Battery doesn't last long enough

Been redoing my stairs so I can stain them.
Only paint on the side because they had carpet on them.
Was only able to edge about 3 steps before the battery gave out. Recharged the battery and only lasted about 20 minutes. At this rate you will never get your project done.

Not going to get much done with this tool.

Nice tool wth all the different functions but the battery is terrible.
Why make a battety operated tool that only last about 1/2 at the most. I got about 3 steps, just the edges done and it stopped. Charged it again and the same thing happened b7t inly about 20 minutes this time.
Buy a different brand or electric is you want to get the job done and not take a week to finish.

Lasted one small job and motor stopped engaging.

Worked great for about an hour or two and motor completely stopped. Still turns on but won’t engage after multiple attempts it will not work at all. Received as a gift and didn’t come with receipt so you are out of luck if you ask for that. Would never buy this again.

I have this sander. The round sanding disk is off center. Received two more to replace bad ones and they are the same. Not a good product.

Terrible dust extraction

The versatility of this tool is great. A HUGE downfall is in the design of dust extraction. #1 - the dust extraction port is pretty restrictive on airflow, thus greatly reducing its effectiveness. #2 - the dust extractor adapter is designed to clip in with only 2 small soft plastic tabs. It won't stay connected to the tool. It only takes a couple of pounds of force to pull it out which regularly happens if you have a heavier hose attached, or if the hose catches on the edge of your bench or anything. Effective dust extraction is a MUST for good sanding, especially with mesh discs. I would NOT recommend this tool except for small, specialty sanding.

Finally no fumbling for another tool!

This is the tool kit I hide in my closet so my sons don’t “borrow” it. As soon as they see the Worx name they seem to need that tool so this kit is closely guarded so it is ready when I need it. Every one of my Worx tools has answered a need. I love them all, but my Sandeck 5-in-1 Multi- Sanding kit is so perfect for my finishing needs. With it there is no need to stop working on a project to go find a different sander. This kit has it all. So far it has helped me complete refinishing tables, chairs, deck trim, window trim and doors. I reach for it for all my sanding chores. This Fall it is going to sand an entire porch to get it ready for paint, its biggest project yet. Usually a project this size fills me with dread but with this tool kit I am actually looking forward to it. Until then my kit is hiding safely in my closet so it will not walk away before I begin. I have shared most of my Worx tools but this one is all mine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
