[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought tbis about a month ago and at first glance, it seemed to be awesome, but as I used it a while, its not as cool as I thought. First of all, there were parts missing and I can't tighten up D-handle. The strap was also missing. The handle constantia turns no matter how tight I get it. If I tighten it anymore, it could break. It causes my hand to hurt bad.There's a missing piece to handle that fills gap in the handle screw. I have contacted worx many times, but they never fixed problem or they just hung up or disconnectrd the chat/call. I am truly disappointed. I was going to purchase another one beford this happen and they faised to price up on me. I was on phone for hours and had to threaten them with a complaint to corporate, but that did mo good. They have now canceled my account in retaliation, I assume. I am.on the fence about ordering anything else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plenty of power.

Very powerful. Just like gas but more torque. The product manual is horrible. No instructions on how to change the trimmer line or disassemble. Your instructional pictures are horrible. Would appreciate a parts list for the trimmer line, trimmer head, etc.

This is a very powerful tool. It works with the brush cutter attachment and cuts through tough brush very effortlessly. The weed / grass trimmer is better by far than others we have had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nitro 40V Cordless Attachment-Capable Driveshare 15" String Trimmer is so easy to use.Pop on the batteries and away you go.Just as powerful as the gas powered trimmers,but without the hassle of mixing of gas.Let alone the struggle to start it.Love the fact I can add attachments to it.Fits most is very vague.Cuts like a breeze! The batteries charge easy.Let alone they actually can hold a charge,better than other battery operated equipment. The only complaint I have is the manual isn't very clear,it took awhile for use to figure out assembly.It's not very clear how we would change the line or what kind it uses. That would be useful.I guess I'll be calling to find out that information.

Heavy Duty Gas-Like trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never owned a high-end trimmer like the 40v Worx Nitro. It did not disappoint as this is easily far more powerful than any trimmer I have ever owned. It comes with (2) 20v batteries that attach at the same time giving you 40v. Each battery has its own gauge so you can see how much battery life is left. When attached the trimmer than also has another gauge to let you know how much combined battery life is left. I haven’t owned any battery that did that, so I thought that was a nice enhancement as I have just been charging after each use with my previous trimmer which is most likely going to shorten the life of those batteries. I don’t believe the battery’s come pre-charged since both had no lights after taking them out of the box. At first I was like man how long is it going to take to charge both of these one at a time, but this comes with a dual charger! Of course, then I was like is this going to take 6-8 hours to charge them both but within 2 hours both were fully charged. Could have been less as I wasn’t monitoring them. I’m not sure if this is an upgraded fast charger or not but it definitely charged faster than my older 20v batteries which I do have a fast charger for. When taking this bad boy for a test drive the first thing I noticed is it’s way more powerful than my old trimmer. I’m not talking a small upgrade here – this was a huge upgrade in power than my older trimmer. The speed adjustment is very similar to gas trimmers and I found myself not using the full-on power most the time. It did come in handy for those thick weeds that had grown a couple feet along the fence line. My old trimmer used to struggle with those, and I would have to keep going back and forth to get those clipped. This thing did it in one pass – it’s a beast. It uses a .095 inch trimmer line which is inline with it’s power. I have a small yard but was able to do it twice so far and not have to charge yet. I’ve also cut down my trimmer time about 30-40% from using my old trimmer since both my edging and trimming are much quicker now as I only have to make one pass. I haven’t owned this lone enough to speak to longevity, but I can say the build quality does feel more heavy duty than my old trimmers. Definitely feels more high-end than any of the older trimmers I have owned. My only complaint is when trying to attach the trimmer shaft to the motor shaft the shafts would not come together to allow the little push button to pop thru. After trying for about 30 minutes and making sure the 2 shafts were aligned correctly, I finally just used my weight to pull the shaft together placing the motor-side down on the ground. I referenced the manual multiple times but it’s lacking. Unfortunately, this scratched up the motor side pretty bad but it’s a yard tool and would eventually end up that way – lol.

Have bought a handful of worx tools lately and all have been solid. So good, I’ve even returned some to “buy a more suitable worx long term replacement” and even the return process was pretty painless!
